Sunflower seeds are used to make sunflower oil, margarine, and animal feed. They also make delicious sweets! In China, the sunflower is considered a symbol of long life. The Chinese believe that these plants are endowed with magical properties.
Means of expression: stain, texture, color.
Materials: a bowl or plastic box containing a stamp pad made of thin foam rubber impregnated with gouache, thick paper of any color and size, potato stamps.
Method of obtaining an image : the child presses the signet onto a stamp pad with paint and makes an impression on the paper. To obtain a different color, both the bowl and the signet are changed.
Today we turn potatoes into seals, and millet into pollen on a sunflower!
The teacher cuts the potato in half. Using a felt-tip pen, he draws petals on the halves, and then cuts off the potatoes around the drawn petals - they should protrude by about 1 cm.
Draw a yellow circle on a piece of cardboard - this is the middle of the sunflower.
Draw a green line - this is the stem.
Add leaves of different shapes and sizes.
Let some leaves overlap the stem.
Dip the potato stamp in yellow paint and press it onto a piece of cardboard.
We print petals around the center of the sunflower.
We detail the leaves with yellow paint.
Then we outline the middle of the flower with a thin line of glue.
Add a few spots of glue in the center.
Sprinkle millet onto the glue.
Shake off the paper - millet that does not stick will fall off. We are waiting for the picture to dry.
Finally, paint the millet with orange paint.
We use it to slightly detail the sunflower leaves.
This is such a wonderful job we have done.
