Cat, rooster and fox

Listen: there was an old man, he had a cat and a rooster. The old man went into the forest to work, the cat brought him food, and left the rooster to guard the house. At that time the fox came:

- Crow, cockerel, Golden comb, Look out the window, I’ll give you some peas.

This is how the fox sang, sitting under the window. The rooster opened the window, stuck his head out and looked: who is singing here? And the fox grabbed him in her claws and carried him to his hut. The rooster cried:

“The fox carried me, the rooster carried me through the dark forests, through the dense forests, along steep banks, over high mountains. Cat Kotofeevich, get rid of me!

The cat heard the cry and gave chase, overtook the fox, fought off the rooster and brought him home.

“Look, Petya,” the cat tells him, “don’t look out the window, don’t trust the fox: she will eat you and won’t leave any bones.”

The old man went into the forest again to work, and the cat brought him food. When the old man left, he ordered the rooster to take care of the house and not look out the window. But the fox really wanted to eat the cockerel. She came to the hut and sang:

- Crow, cockerel, Golden comb, Look out the window, I’ll give you peas, I’ll give you some grains.

The rooster walks around the hut, is silent, does not respond. The fox sang the song again and threw peas out the window. The rooster ate the peas and said:

- No, fox, you can’t deceive me! You want to eat me... and you won’t leave any bones.

- That's enough, Petya! Will I eat you? I wanted you to stay with me, to see my life, to look at my goods!

And she sang in a sweet voice:

- Crow, cockerel, Golden comb, Butter head, Look out the window, I gave you peas, I'll give you some grains.

The rooster looked out the window, and the fox caught his claws. The rooster crowed:

“The fox carried me, the rooster carried me through the dark forests, through the dense forests, along steep banks, over high mountains. Cat Kotofeevich, help me out!

The cat heard the cry, set off in pursuit, caught up with the fox and fought off the rooster.

“Didn’t I tell you, Petya, don’t look out the window - the fox will eat you and won’t leave any bones!” Look, listen to me! We'll go far tomorrow.

So again the old man went to work, and the cat brought him bread. The fox crept under the window and immediately began to sing a song. She crowed three times, but the rooster is still silent.

“What is this,” says the fox, “now Petya is completely numb!”

- No, fox, you won’t deceive me! I won't look out the window.

The fox threw peas and wheat out the window and sang again:

- Crow, cockerel, Golden comb, Butter head, Look out the window, I have a mansion, A big mansion, In every corner There is a piece of wheat by the measure: Eat, you’re full, I don’t want it!

Then she added:

- Yes, you should look, Petya, how many wonders I have! That's it, don't trust the cat! If I wanted to eat you, I would have done it a long time ago. And then you see - I love you, I want to show you to people and teach you how to live in the world. Show yourself, Petya! Now I'm going around the corner!

And hid behind the wall...

The rooster jumped onto the bench, stuck his head out the window, and the fox grabbed his claws - and there he was! The rooster crowed at the top of his lungs, but the old man and the cat were far away and did not hear his cry.

How long or short does it take the cat to return home and see: the cockerel is gone, he needs to help him out of trouble. The cat immediately dressed up as a guslar, grabbed a club in his paws and went to the fox’s hut. He came and started playing the harp:

- Strain-string, goseltsy, golden strings! Is Lisafya at home, or at home with the children, one daughter is Chuchelka, the other is Podchuchelka, the third is Give-a-shuttle, the fourth is Sweep-six, the fifth is Pipe-Close, the sixth is Fire-Blow, and the seventh is Bake-Pies!

Lisa says:

- Come, Chuchelka, look who sings such a good song?

The scarecrow went out of the gate, and the guslier tapped her on the pubis and in the box and sang the same song again. The fox sends another daughter, after another - a third, after a third - a fourth, and so on. Whichever one comes out of the gate, the guslar will do his job: a knock on the pubis - yes, in the box! Killed all the Fox children one by one.

The fox is waiting for them and can't wait. “Let me,” he thinks, “I’ll see for myself!”

She went out of the gate, and the cat swung his baton, and as soon as it hit her on the head, she was out of her mind! The cockerel was delighted, flew out the window and thanks the cat for his salvation. They returned to the old man and began to live and live and make good things for themselves.

A fairy tale about a rooster, a cat and a fox

Three friends

There lived three friends - a cat, a fox and a rooster. We lived well, well fed. The cat went hunting, the fox took care of the housework, and the rooster sat on the roof all day and watched so that no one else came.

One day the cat returned home sad. - Why are you like this? - asks the fox. “I wasted the whole day and didn’t bring anything to the table,” the cat answers.

Lisa says: “It’s not a problem.” We have cockerel grain. Let's not go hungry. We'll live somehow.

The next day the cat went into the forest again and returned again gloomy: “What’s wrong?” - asks the fox. “I spent the whole day in vain again,” the cat complains. “Nothing,” the fox answers, “We won’t stretch our paws on the cockerel grain.”

On the third day the cat went into the forest. And again he returned with nothing. The fox encourages him again: “As long as there is grain, we will not be lost.” So they began to satisfy their hunger with cockerel kernels. A week passes, followed by another, and a third. The cockerel sits on the roof and notices something is wrong from above.

Unkind

The cat and the fox began to look at him with unkind eyes and smack their lips with evil tongues. One day a rooster was sitting on the roof and saw a neighbor’s bunny running along the path. A squirrel from a tree meets him: “Great, brother.” I heard the news - today is a holiday for the fox and the cat. A hearty lunch is planned. She was at the market just now and bought some vegetables. She said she would cook chicken soup.

When the rooster heard about this, he shook all over with fear. Where to run - what to do? And then the fox came out onto the threshold and called to him: “Come down to the table, Petya, we’ve got everything ready!”

Nothing to do. The cockerel had to fly into the house. He looks - a cat and a fox are sitting at the table, and in front of them is a saucepan covered with a lid. Petya thinks “the end has come for me.” He sits down at the table, and he himself trembles like an aspen leaf. The fox reached behind the lid with its paw, Petya closed his eyes... And when he opened it, lo and behold, in front of him was a full plate of fresh grain. The cat and the fox say to him:

“We, Petya, have been saving ourselves for days with your grain.” And now that's it, our troubled days are over. Here, accept a gift from us.

The rooster rejoiced as he was born again. And he felt ashamed that he could think bad things about his friends.

In advance, I firmly carved out morality in my mind - trust in friendship is a delicate matter; It is easy to incriminate lies on loved ones, it is more difficult to believe in goodness unconditionally.

“This is what it’s like to disobey!”

We read the fairy tale as presented by Afanasyev “The Cat, the Rooster and the Fox”

Then she added: “You should look, Petya, how many rarities I have! Show yourself, Petya! Come on, don't trust the cat. If I wanted to eat you, I would have eaten you long ago; otherwise, you see, I love you, I want to show you the light, instruct you wisely and teach you how to live. Show yourself, Petya, and I’ll go around the corner!” - and hid closer to the wall. The rooster jumped onto the bench and looked from afar; he wanted to know if the fox had left. So he stuck his head out the window, and the fox was in his claws and that was it.

The rooster sang the same song; but the cat didn’t hear him. The fox carried the rooster away and ate it behind the fir tree, only the tail and feathers were blown away by the wind. The cat and the old man came home and did not find the rooster; no matter how much they grieved, and then they said: “This is what it’s like to disobey!”

Russian fairy tale

Russian folk tale "The Fox and the Rooster" retold by Alexei Tolstoy

Many different fairy tales were composed by the great and wise Russian people.
The plots of these folklore works are replete with beautiful speech patterns. Russian storytellers knew how to decorate even a simple story with bright epithets. The beauty of Russian colloquial speech in folk art attracted the writer and playwright A. N. Tolstoy. He published a whole collection of processed Russian folk tales, among which is “The Fox and the Rooster.”

And it begins with a beautiful saying. This technique immediately captivates young children and captures their full attention. The simple story begins with the fact that a fox was about to sneak into the boyar's courtyard. She wanted to profit from at least something there: a calf or a lamb, a pig or a chicken.

Yes, I just saw the cunning rogue thief. He flapped his “feather wings” and screamed with a piercing cry throughout the yard. In a word, he made a lot of noise so that everyone knew that he had discovered the red-haired thief.

All the courtyard people came running to this cry. And not empty-handed: everyone took with them whatever came to hand at that moment. Shovels, grips, axes, rockers, whorls and hammers - everything went into use.

We decided to catch and beat the fox. And it couldn’t be otherwise, because theft is a terrible sin. Anyone who lives off the labor of others is always subject to severe punishment. It’s not for nothing that the fox is considered a cunning animal - it broke out and ran into the forest.

Three days passed, the fox lay down under an alder bush. And the rooster forgot to think about the rogue thief. So I decided to take a walk in an open field and sit on a tall tree. And that’s all the cunning rascal needed.

She went up to the tree where the cockerel was sitting and began to treat him with clever speeches. They say that he cannot do without repentance, because he has sinned a lot in his life. The cockerel trusted the fox and came down from the tree.

Then the red-haired thief grabbed the gullible bird and began to scold him and reprimand him for preventing her from enjoying herself in the boyar’s courtyard. It is not easy to escape from the clutches of a predator. But the cockerel outwitted her. He spoke flattering speeches, but the fox could not resist.

As soon as she loosened her grip, the rooster broke free and flew back up the tree. In life, it is difficult to imagine a situation where a cunning and dexterous fox would miss its prey. But the storyteller wanted the cheat to be punished and left with her nose. Because this image means a cunning and thieving person. And such qualities always deserve not only censure, but also punishment.

Fox and rooster

One day a fox stole a hare skin that was hung out to dry. Why did she need the hare skin, who knows? You can't eat the skin. Sew a fur coat? So the fox has a good fur coat. For some kind of trick, it must be. After all, the fox lives only by cunning.

And then one day the fox puts this skin on himself and goes to the village to steal chickens. She knows that chickens are not afraid of hares. Not only chickens, even sparrows are not afraid of hares.

Behind the garden of the last hut in the village, a rooster and a hen are poking around in the ground. The fox, throwing on a hare's skin, walks straight towards them. The hen, seeing her, says to the rooster:

- Look! Someone is coming towards us.

The rooster, puffed up, casually says:

“Don’t be afraid, it’s a hare!” and continues to poke around in the ground. Meanwhile, the fox comes very close, grabs the chicken and runs away. The rooster freezes in surprise. Then, very upset about the chicken, he returns to the chicken coop. Seeing how sad the rooster is, chickens run up to him from all sides.

- What's happened? What's happened? Why so sad? - they ask vyingly.

The rooster, almost crying, blinks his eyes frequently and says:

- One of you was dragged away by a hare.

The chickens look at each other and laugh:

- What kind of nonsense do you talk sometimes? You can't joke at all!

The rooster starts to get angry. His comb turns red.

- Why are you laughing, you fools!? “I’m telling you what I saw with my own eyes!” he shouts.

The chickens don't believe him. But fearing the wrath of the rooster, they pretend to believe. And the rooster is still cocking.

- Eh, I didn’t notice it in time! I would like that hare! I would have grabbed him by the neck and pecked him and scratched him all over! Once again he will get it! I'll show him where the crayfish spend the winter! I’ll pounce on him and peck him right before your eyes!” the rooster crows and doesn’t let up.

One evening, the fox, having again put on the hare skin, comes to the hen house. The rooster, as soon as he saw her, shouted: “Aha!” Gotcha!” - rushes at the fox. Out of surprise, the fox mistakes the rooster for a bird of prey and takes off running. The rooster digs his claws deep into the hare's skin, and the skin remains in his claws. The rooster, having become proud, begins to brag to the chickens.

- Look, I skinned that impudent hare! He turned yellow and completely naked. Barely lost his legs, poor fellow! It would have been bad for him if he hadn’t run away!

The chickens admire the rooster's courage.

- How brave you are!

The rooster, becoming even more proud, continues to boast:

“As long as I’m alive, don’t be afraid of anyone!” I won't let you offend. Not only the hare, but even the fox will come, don’t be afraid. “I can skin a fox,” he reassures the chickens.

One evening the fox returns to the hen house. The rooster, seeing her, cries:

- Yeah! That naked hare came to us! Now I’ll finish him off! - and throws himself on the fox’s neck. The fox runs to the side and pretends to beg:

- Oh, my dear cockerel! Don't destroy me! Don't kill for God's sake!

And the rooster is even more brave than before:

“Just now I tore your skin off, and now I’ll knock your soul out, you impudent little bunny!” Where did you take my chicken? Speak now!

And the fox is cunning:

- Your chicken is alive, brother cockerel! Nobody touched her. Don't fume in vain. She's in the forest. Come with me and take her back.

“Until you give me back my chicken, I won’t get off your neck,” says the rooster.

“We’re going after her, my little cockerel!” If you take her, wait a little,” says the fox.

As soon as they entered the forest, the fox rushed to the ground, threw off the rooster and grabbed him by the throat. After some time, all that was left of the stupid rooster were feathers.
