Summary of a lesson in the middle group on drawing on the topic “Rowan”

In a vase

A rowan branch (the drawing for children can be in the form of a still life) in a vase is depicted on a sheet of paper in the following sequence:

  1. Draw a vase, placing it on a piece of paper so that there is space for branches. It is better to mark the top and bottom of the vessel in advance using a simple pencil. It is enough to draw them 2 horizontal lines - at the top and bottom. The vase itself can have any shape, any size and any pattern on the surface at the request of the child.
  2. Once the vase is drawn, start drawing the branch. The rowan tree is thin and bends slightly downward under the weight of the fruits growing on it. To depict a rowan branch coming out of a vase, simply draw a brown line with paint.
  3. Draw several leaves to the branch. Each rowan leaf consists of smaller narrow leaves placed in pairs. Leaves should be drawn in pairs using the dipping method. The bristles of the brush must be placed flat and then carefully lifted. At the same time, you need to remind children that in autumn all the leaves on the rowan tree are multi-colored. Leaves can be made two-colored using green and yellow paints. You can completely dip the brush in yellow paint, and then its tip in green, and place the bristles on the side of the paper.

  4. To draw petioles, apply the thin end of the brush to a piece of paper and use light movements to create light lines. This will convey the liveliness of the drawing.
  5. Draw berries. They should be located closely and partially obscure each other. You can use cotton swabs to draw berries.
  6. When the paint is completely dry, all that remains is to add 1 black dot to each rowan berry. These will be the stamens of the fruit.
  7. If necessary, add a small number of small branches to the picture.

Winter rowan

Rowan berries differ from many other well-known fruits in that they ripen not in summer, but in autumn, often in October or later. They can be seen on a tree after snow falls and winter sets in.

Therefore, when drawing a branch of this frost-loving plant, it is necessary to make the leaves not only green, but also yellow, which will accurately indicate the time of year.

The rowan branch (the drawing for children can be thematic, for example, winter) in the image may be covered with fresh snow. It is important not to forget to remind children that rowan should not be picked from the tree, no matter how beautiful it is, because birds that find it difficult to survive in harsh winter conditions will feed on it.

To work you should prepare:

  • wax crayons;
  • paper sheet;
  • gouache paint;
  • container with water;
  • several brushes;
  • 1 candle.

The crayons that will be used in this process have the good property of repelling paint, which results in interesting effects. This method of drawing is also non-traditional.

Step-by-step creation of a drawing of a rowan branch for children.

The work stages will be as follows:

  1. Draw a branch. Using brown wax crayon for this. You can immediately draw the outlines of the leaves without changing the color of the chalk. Subsequently they will be painted in the desired color.
  2. Start drawing berries. To do this, first use the same brown chalk. They need to create an outline. Each berry should have a round shape.
  3. Add a “tail” to each berry, which is typical for all rowan fruits. Such “tails” are depicted by 2 very short intersecting strokes, which are located approximately in the center of the berries. Brown chalk is used for this.
  4. Color the berries with red or orange chalk.
  5. Color the leaves with yellow and red crayons.
  6. Use blue chalk to draw snowflakes throughout the drawing.
  7. Circle all the drawn snowflakes with a candle.
  8. Paint the sheet with liquid gouache. You can add white gouache, as well as snow - by spraying.

Autumn

To draw an autumn rowan branch, you need to prepare:

  • colour pencils;
  • paper;
  • eraser;
  • black fountain pen;
  • simple pencil.

The drawing process takes place in the following stages:

  1. Outline the location of branches and fruits. The branches should be represented by thin lines made with a simple pencil, and the fruits should be represented by small circles.
  2. Draw leaves on the rowan branch. There are many of them and each of them should have the shape of a drop. It is also important not to forget about the veins.
  3. Draw the berries in detail. They should be pressed tightly against each other. You need to try to make sure that the fruits touch each other. In this case, the drawing will be more realistic.

  4. Draw the branch on which the bunch of berries is located. On some fruits, a small dot marks the middle.
  5. Give clarity to a sketch made in pencil. To do this, outline all pencil lines with a black fountain pen.

  6. Take an eraser in your hands and begin to remove unnecessary traces of a simple pencil.
  7. Take colored pencils and start coloring. First, color the branches: the thicker ones should turn brown, and the thinner ones should turn green.
  8. Color the sheets. The colors used for this are green, yellow and orange.
  9. Color the fruits. They should be red or orange. At the same time, to make the picture more realistic, it is recommended to leave small areas of the berries unpainted. This is how a glare is formed.

Rowan branch in pencil

Drawing a rowan branch with a simple pencil is one of the simplest methods that is perfect for young children.

The work takes place in the following stages:

StageDescription
1Draw berries

There are many of them, each of them should be represented by a small circle. Fruit sizes may vary. It is better to specifically try to depict circles of different sizes. In this case, the picture will turn out more natural. The circles should be arranged randomly; you can simply “scatter” them across the paper. In this case, it is imperative to draw the circles so that they are placed tightly to each other. The total number of berries may vary. When the artist considers that enough of them have been drawn, you can move on to the next stage of work.
2Draw the ovary

It is located at the top of each berry in the center. It is from this that the fruit begins to appear after flowering. The ovary is drawn simply: just draw a small cross. It should be on every berry
3Draw the stem and thin branches

They fit every fruit. To depict them, you need to draw several paired smooth lines. In this case, all branches should be collected into one stem. It is to this that a branch with a bunch of fruits is attached.
4Draw a few leaves

They are located on the main stem. Each of them should have the shape of a drop. In this case, along each sheet, approximately in the middle, you should draw the 1st line, as if dividing it in half
5Color the finished outline

It is necessary to arm yourself with colored pencils or felt-tip pens.
Colors can be chosen at individual discretion. Rowan fruits are usually red or orange. You can use either color to color them. The branches and main stem should be made brown. The leaves should be green, but it is not necessary to paint them with a solid color. You can use different shades of green for different halves of leaves. You can additionally apply yellow color, which will show that the drawing is autumn
