  • Vladivostok: the sea gate of Russia

Vladivostok: the sea gate of Russia
True, today the Far East is not only yarangas, but also real modern megacities. Let's say Vladivostok. This settlement is called the “sea gate of Russia” . Vladivostok was marked on maps in 1860. There is even a column that talks about this. It also has a model of the sailing ship Manchu. This is a Russian ship that dropped anchor in these lands for the first time. Then it was the Golden Horn Bay.

Naturally, residents of Vladivostok consider the sea to be their direct breadwinner. It is there that ships sail for fishing. Small fishing boats and huge vessels supply local people and other compatriots with seafood.

    London theaters

There are more than 100 theaters in London. Among the classical theaters, the following should be noted:

    The Royal National Theater (eng.
    RoyalNationalTheatre )
is one of the best and most respected theaters in Great Britain, a major international theater center.

It was created in 1963 through the efforts of the famous English actor Sir Laurence Olivier, who became its first artistic director. The theater offers a diverse repertoire - from classics to modernity, different directors work here and on its stages you can see the best actors on the planet.

    the in
    London is
the Globe Theatre which is incredibly popular these days. The theater was founded in 1599.

The Globe auditorium accommodated, according to various sources, from 1200 to 3000 spectators. It is impossible to establish the exact capacity of the hall - there were no seats provided for the bulk of commoners; They were crowded into the stalls, standing on the dirt floor. Privileged spectators were accommodated with some comforts: along the inner side of the wall there were boxes for the aristocracy, above them there was a gallery for the wealthy. The richest and most noble sat on the sides of the stage, on portable three-legged stools.

The Globe Theater very soon became one of the main cultural centers of England: all the plays of William Shakespeare and other outstanding playwrights of the Renaissance were staged on its stage.

However, in 1613, during the premiere of Shakespeare's Henry VIII, a fire broke out in the theater: a spark from a stage cannon shot hit the thatched roof above the back of the stage. Historical evidence states that there were no casualties in the fire, but the building burned to the ground. The end of the “first Globe” symbolically marked a change in literary and theatrical eras: around this time, William Shakespeare stopped writing plays.

The new Globus Theater opened in 1997. Since, according to historical realities, the new building was built without a roof, performances are held in it only in spring and summer. However, tours of London's oldest theater, the Globe, are conducted daily. Already in this century, next to the restored Globe, a theme park museum dedicated to Shakespeare was opened. It houses the world's largest exhibition dedicated to the great playwright; A variety of themed entertainment events are organized for visitors: here you can try to write a sonnet yourself; watch a sword fight, and even take part in a production of a Shakespeare play.

The main repertoire of the theater is Shakespeare's plays, which is why the Globe is called the Shakespeare Theater.

What is interesting about the south of Russia?

    South of Russia
It's time to remember the Don and Kuban. What is interesting about the south of Russia?

    • Naturally, I remember the guards of the local borders - the Cossacks.
    • They lived and live on the banks of these rivers.
    • By the way, when a boy was born to the Cossacks, the father and grandfather “celebrated” this with a volley of gunfire. This meant that a new warrior had seen the light.
    • Rostov-on-Don, Stavropol, Krasnodar, Sochi, Anapa - everyone has probably heard about these cities.
    • It is worth noting the Crimean expanses, steppes and seashores - incredible beauty, beaches and a lot of sun.

Novorossiysk is one of the most famous ports. There is a memorial “Malaya Zemlya”, reminiscent of the exploits of the townspeople during the war.

Ural: the splendor of Russia and beautiful gems

The Urals: the splendor of Russia
Next comes another beautiful location - the Urals . The mountain range stretches for 3000 km. But they are no longer so tall. It is the Ural Mountains that are the border of the West Siberian and East European Plains. The Urals have long been famous for their stones. There are beautiful gems here. Rumor has it that malachite can be found among the rocks. It's a fabulous place - and not just because of the sparkling cut.

    Ural: beautiful gems

By the way, writer P.P. Bazhov, who describes such splendor of Russia and the wealth of the Urals in his works “Silver Hoof” and “Mistress of the Copper Mountain,” comes from Yekaterinburg. There is also a house-museum of the greatest composer P.I. Tchaikovsky. After all, he was born in Votkinsk.

But the Urals are not only the land of jewelers, but also the land of metallurgists. The first enterprises appeared here approximately three hundred years ago. During the Great Patriotic War, it was the Urals who were the best suppliers of military equipment: tanks, aircraft, artillery pieces.

Ural craftsmen are known throughout the world. Also here is Orenburg, whose symbol is a down scarf. Everyone also knows the cities: Zlatoust, Chelyabinsk, Ufa, Yekaterinburg.
